Traftar skilfully cuts the heads off the two creatures that are only known as the ‘Sandpoint Devil’, despite his skill with the hunting knife, Traftar is covered in gore and smells as horrid as the foul creatures. He bags the two heads as trophies and proof that they are heros.
In the pre-dawn light Sandru, Traftar, Senja and Izanti decide to push onto the Goblin Village. Traftar raises a concern that perhaps four heros should not try fight the entire Lickload tribe. Sandru suggest they heroically sneak in find Koya’s jewellery box and then run for it. With a boost from Izanti he climbs up the outside of the village wall to peer into a second story window. There he sees a strange sight. An unconscious goblin, surround by broken humanoid bones… the goblin strangely has a hand stuffed in its mouth.
The group discover that the village gate is smashed… outwards. They wander into the strangely quiet village and hide in the room with the unconscious goblin. They discuss its fate, should they revive it and try and befriend it, our should they kill it? Brother Senja suggest they seek a peaceful solution, Sandru says it is too dangerous and the goblin should be killed. Senja reaches down and shatters it ribcage with a single punch stopping its heart instantly.
While urging that a peaceful solution be found, Senja leads the party through the village. Firstly the party come across cowering goblins, which are promptly killed by well placed punches and calmly lethal kicks by the humble monk. Then the party encounters firmer resistance to their invasion of the village, a goblin grenade thrower… who is quickly dispatched by Brother Senja. Finally the entire village is roused and confronts the party, led by an irate female goblin wearing a bridal veil.
Hard pressed for a while the party regroups under a timely tune by Sandru, and they kill all the goblin defenders. They follow those goblins that flee to the last goblin refuge in the village, Chief Gutwad’s hut.
Senja rips the large double doors off their hinges and the final battle ensues. One-by-one Chief Gutwad’s minions are killed, leaving the chief surrounded by hostile hero’s. In a desperate move the Chief lights a large firework and prepares to go out in a bang. He is struck down by the hero’s, all of whom flee, apart from Traftar who tries to smoother the firework with the fat Chief’s corpse. The firework explodes, sending bits of Goblin blasting all over the throne room.
