After resting over night the group made plans to storm the castle in the morning. Sandru plans to fool the Ogrekin into coming down off the castle wall and opening the gate.
Disguised as a wandering necromancer Sandru steps out of the forest path, while other stay hidden in the trees.
The plan starts off well, in that Sandru enrages the Ogres, but he quickly realises that Nevakali is lurking around hidden from sight through magic. The necromancer is not easily fooled.
Trafar raises a fog, while Nevakali summons forth darkness. In the dim-foggy early morning a chaotic battle enfolds.
Nevakali uses his horrific screech and stuns the combatants, enemies and minions alike… Senja falls from the wall and lies stunned, winded and with a horrific head wound on the ground. However, having the orgekin stunned turns the battle in the favor of the heros.
Nevakali flees the battle, while the hero’s storm the castle. The take a moment to heal then seek a way into room where Nevikali has fortified himself.
Breaking into the old defiled chapel to Desna the battle with Nevakali continues. Once more the neromancer summons darkness. But this time the numbers are too great and eventually the Necromancer is killed as he tries once more to flee.
The chapel contains a defaced statue to Desna. The group discover a small hidden prayer room that was not defiled. Inside they discover a small chest belong to the priest of Desna.
